Alan
Thomas is
the Director of Sporting Chance International. A former PE
teacher from St. Ives, Cornwall, he is currently subject leader
for ICT at a Hayle Community School. Alan has vast experience
working with young people in sports, camps and outdoor activities
for over 30 years. His tremendous enthusiasm for SCI is a key
factor in its success.

Brian Murden
BA(hons), Bed, HND(ENG) is The Chair of the Trust.
He is a colleague of Alan at Hayle Community School, where
he enjoys teaching Maths. Brian is a family man who was previously
employed in business and has travelled extensively.

Lesley Thomas is
a teacher by profession with over 25 years experience in the
junior sector, including responsibility for PE. She does many
of the secretarial aspects of the charity. A key job is sorting,
washing and packing the kit they receive. In 1999 she travelled
to Kenya with her husband, Alan, and caught the vision. They
have two adult children, Rebekah and Matthew.
