Partnerships - Hayle Community School

Hayle Community School is an 11-16 mixed comprehensive school in West Cornwall. The school understands the value of international links and has found the partnership with Sporting Chance International very helpful in providing the students with a rich experience of what life can be like in Africa. We aim to give support through direct involvement with the students. In return they have an enriched curriculum with input from SCI.

Examples of this include:

• an email exchange program with students from a school in Eldoret
• an African Awareness Day with fund raising
• school assemblies
• regularly updated displays
• as a theme for citizenship GCSE coursework
