Frederick Obongita Osore graduated
from Kenyatta University with a degree in Sociology. He is a
gifted communicator and experienced administrator. The vision
of SCI has steadily grown on him. As the Director of SCI-Kenya,
he heads a strong team who share his passion to see social change,
with sport being a key factor. Married with children, Fred has
travelled in Africa and also to Australia and Canada through
his work with the Kenya Dairy Processors Association. His current
post is at Daystar University as an Executive Personal Assistant
to the Vice-Chancellor.

Stephen Mwangi
Kagwi is chairman of SCI-Kenya, and, like the UK trustees,
is a teacher. Unlike them Steve is a linguist and speaks fluent
French. He is Head of Dept of Languages & Ethics at Excel
Academy. He enjoys sport and is aware of the way it can help
to improve the standard of living for those who participate.
He relishes the opportunity to lift moral and social values through
sports.

James Mugambi, the
vice-chair of SCI-Kenya, is a Bachelor of Education (Science) graduate
from Kenyatta University. He teaches ICT and Biology at Muhoho
High School, where he is also the games master in charge of basketball.
He is married to Maria and blessed with two children, Esther and
Alvis.

Meshack Manyeki
Ndegwa was educated at Nyeri High School, before graduating
from Kenyatta University with a degree in commerce. He is a management
accountant with the First American Bank of Kenya Ltd, and is,
therefore, an ideal choice for treasurer. He has expressed a
desire to see changes in society, that benefit the youth and
believes sport can act as a catalyst for that change.
