SCI has donated uniforms to youth teams. Some teams never imagined that they would put on uniform. This has improved their self esteem and worth. It has also created a spirit of competition and standards of football are going up.

Collecting Kit

Gathering redundant sets of kit from clubs and schools has always been at the heart of what SCI does. Since the charity began over 300 sets of kit have been gathered, sorted, washed, folded and packed ready for dispatch overseas. It is a very easy way for people to give. Clubs especially have changes in sponsors or their kit just becomes unfashionable. SCI receives shirts, shorts, socks, kit bags and other items of kit or equipment. Club secretaries are reluctant to throw away unused kit. Without anyone to receive it, the shed or the loft become the resting place for so much of it. SCI provides the ideal answer.

What to Do?
If you are involved with a club, check if they have any unused kit. You could be the means by which a group of young Africans get to play with uniforms (as they call it) for the very first time. Contact us and we will make arrangements for collecting it, or if you wish, you can deliver it.
