McDonald Mariga - Kenyan and Inter Milan SCI are thrilled to have Mcdonald Mariga as their key ambassador in Kenya. McDonald has over 25 international caps for Kenya. He was signed by Inter Milan in April 2010 and became the first Kenyan player to win a UEFA Champione League medal on 22nd May 2010. McDonald will be at the re-launch of the SCI flagship project, its football academy based on Thika Road, Nairobi. The re-launch takes place on 10th July 2010. Sport has played a huge part in my life and my participation has given me irreplaceable experiences and taught me invaluable lessons in life. It will give me huge satisfaction to work with SCI in helping improve the lives of the young in Kenya, through sport, as I know first hand the massive benefits it will bring to their everyday lives." Chris Southwell - Pro Snowboarder From an early age sport has played an integral role in both my daily life and my career. A life without sport is unimaginable to me, so it is of great personal importance to be able to introduce and develop sports into the lives of those less fortunate. Having had the opportunity to spend 6 months in Africa and witnessed first hand both the incredible and diverse culture as well as the warmth and generosity of its people, I feel that to be an ambassador of SCI is an ideal chance to help people with a cause that I feel so passionately about. Chris has kindly gifted a day's snow boarding instruction at Verbier as a prize in the golf day auction. Wales Junior Women's Lacrosse team The Junior Wales Lacrosse team is delighted to adopt Sporting Chance International as their special group for support. We realize how life changing it can be to play sport and be part of a team, having all been very lucky to be selected to represent our country. It is a brilliant opportunity for us to support others to get the benefits and enjoyment of team sport. Who knows some of the boys and girls may also represent their country one day or at least dream of this possibility. It is great to think that SCI will really change lives for the better and that we could have in someway contributed to this. Every time we put on our playing kit we think of you and will continue to have a special place for you for years to come. Best wishes from the Wales Junior Women’s Lacrosse team.

I've been a Singer/Songwriter for the last 2 years and I know the hard work, dedication and commitment it takes to make dreams reality. That's why I support this worthy cause even though I'm not a professional sports woman. This cause believes in people dreams and help makes them come true, which is something that I feel really passionate about and have spent the last few years striving to do as a musician."
